  I am a member of Lamb of God Church and I really love attending it. God has brought so many wonderful people together in this place. Sunday morning is like a great feast day of song, the Word, and the fellowship. This is a mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has been worshiping for 4 years. We have been steadily growing with the majority of the people coming from the immediate and surrounding communities in Pike township. I invite you to check it out for yourself this Sunday at 10:30AM. Everyone is welcome.

  I first came to Lamb of God three years ago. It's a little melting pot of diversity with a big heart; all of which were important to me. I think of it as the little church that can ....can become the church God is calling it to become. There is an atmosphere of hospitality, dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm. It's an active church and innovative as well: worshiping with other churches of different denominations, community outreach projects, monthly pitch ins, Bible studies, Sunday school, etc. We have a good sponsor in Pastor Capers as he leads and serves the congregation of Lamb of God. He is very dedicated and is always willing to spend time getting involved in the life of his parishioners, whether it is going to a doctor appointment, attending an elementary school graduation ceremony, or tutoring in the Word. He models what he calls us to do. I experience the committees as facilitators and the congregation as the one that lives out the mission. We are a growing church. Everyone is important, and it is easy to feel like a part of the life and the future of the church. Whether child or adult, young or old; your presence as an individual is both welcomed and appreciated. The children are treasured, nurtured, and active. We are blessed with a pastor who cares and a church community that cares. We are a little church that has a lot to offer including fun. Lamb of God: a church, a community, and an opportunity.
